I have used Pinterest in the past to encourage design students to both collaborate and to inspire design ideas. For example, they may use it to collect and vote on which skirt silhouette to use for their pattern-making class, or to gather inspiration for their range. Pinterest can be used to curate the posts of others, and to upload one’s own photos, before ‘pinning’ to one’s own board, much like a pin board. Boards can be shared or kept private (Bower, 2016; Digital Education Advisory Group, 2013). Google forms has been another great tool, particularly in gathering feedback about a workshop from participants. The form (online surveys similar to Survey Monkey) is sent out to participants, with the results being automatically collated in a spreadsheet for easy comprehension (Seif, Brown, & Annan-Coultas, 2013). Hi Karen, thanks for providing three really good Web 2.0 tools. I think I could use all of these tools in my classroom, these are tools that are presently not used but I can see a use for all of these, I have a few questions about each of the tools.
